We're a small team of Marrakech residents who spend far too much time in the city's museums. We've been going to these places for years, with and without visitors, and we write what we wish someone had told us before we bought the ticket.
Every page is re-read on site: we photograph the hours and prices board on each visit and update the page if anything has moved. When we can't check in person, we call the museum. If you spot a mistake, tell us through the contact page; we usually fix it the same day.
We take no payment from museums, cafés or riads in exchange for a mention. The opinions are ours, and when we don't like something, we say so. Links to official websites are there so you buy tickets at the source; we earn no commission.
We use freely licensed photographs by Wikimedia Commons and Unsplash contributors, with author and licence listed at the bottom of this page. If you're the author of an image and want the credit changed or the image removed, write to us.
For the visitor who wants to know whether a place is worth two hours of their day and the price of a ticket, and for the Marrakchi who hasn't set foot in the Bahia since school. The content is in Arabic, French and English because those are the languages on the signs at the museum doors.
