A brick building that looks like fabric, and fifty dresses in the dark
About the place
Studio KO designed the façade in 2017 like a piece of tweed: terracotta bricks laid in relief, changing with the hour. Inside, the main hall is pitch dark, with around fifty outfits lit one by one: the pea coat, the safari jacket, the tuxedo, the Morocco-inspired dresses. It takes forty minutes, which is short for the price, but the temporary exhibition next door often raises the bar (photographers, Moroccan painters, house archives). The library and auditorium are open to anyone who asks.

Visiting tip
Get the combined garden + museum ticket online: you save money and skip the museum queue. Le Studio café in the courtyard is one of the quietest in Gueliz.
